You undergo a surgical procedure to implant four titanium posts into your jawbone, which will serve as a foundation for a full-size upper or lower set of teeth.

During the healing and growth of your implants, your provider places a temporary set of teeth on top of them that remain in place until your implants have settled into your jawbone and healed. As soon as the implants have healed, your dentist bonds your permanent replacement teeth to your implants, and you will walk out of your dentist's office with a completely new smile and enhanced oral health.

Replacing a full arch of your teeth typically requires individual dental implants for each of the teeth. However, an alternative option called All-on-4 utilizes only four implants for replacing either the top or bottom row of teeth.
